To procure a heavy equipment transport trailer for fire program area management on the Apalachicola National Forest (NF) in Wakulla, Florida.

Deliver a 47-foot trailer with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 117,300 lbs and triple axles.

• Trailer Specifications:

  • Upper Deck: 45° approx. neck, 9' deck (9' + 2.5' slope = 11.5') treadplate, with an additional 28 feet of deck length.
  • Beavertail: 6 feet, self-cleaning, 5" x 3" angle iron.
  • Ramps: Rear 8' x 45" 5" x 3" angle iron, air operated with bolt-on legs.
  • Deck Height: Approx. 59" upper deck, 35" main deck when loaded.
  • Load Capacity: 100,000 lbs distributed, 65,000 lbs in 10 ft, 59,500 lbs in 4 ft.
  • Axles: 3 axles, 25K each, oil bath, with air brakes, ABS 2S/1M, and parking brakes.
  • Suspension: 49" spread (spring), 9700 Hutch.
  • Tires & Wheels: 12 tires and wheels, 235/75R 17.5 J, 8 bolt.

• Deck: Upper deck with a 45° approx. neck and 9' deck (11.5' including slope); Main deck height approximately 35" loaded, Upper deck approximately 59" loaded.

• Load Capacity: 100,000 lbs distributed, 65,000 lbs in 10 ft, 59,500 lbs in 4 ft.

• Beavertail: 6 feet self-cleaning with 5" x 3" angle iron.

• Ramps: Rear 8' x 45" 5" x 3" angle iron, air operated with bolt-on legs.

• Axles & Suspension: Three 25K oil bath axles with 49" spread suspension (9700 Hutch).

• Wheels & Tires: Twelve 235/75R 17.5 J tires on 8-bolt wheels.
