Scope of Work

- Assessment of National Register eligibility for all identified cultural resource sites.
- Recording of previously identified (11 sites) and newly identified (estimated up to 20) archaeological sites and isolated occurrences.
- Completion of Tonto National Forest site forms, including National Register eligibility determinations and fire sensitivity assessments.
- Production of a Section 106 compliance report meeting contract specifications and USDA Forest Service Region 3 Cultural Resources Handbook standards.
- GIS data collection, spatial documentation, and data entry using the USFS Heritage Mobile Application.
Work will be performed within the Tonto National Forest, approximately 40 miles northeast of Payson, AZ. A map (Attachment 3) provides geographical context.
