Scope of Work
The project involves comprehensive roof repairs and replacements:
- Buildings HP255 and HP265: Replacement of existing shingle roofs with new aluminum standing seam metal roofing systems. This includes removal of existing systems, decking replacement (up to 5%), installation of new underlayment (self-adhering ice/water membrane), aluminum drip edge, elastomeric expansion joints, and standing seam metal roof with vented ridge cap (suede color), designed for 150 mph winds. Permanent fall protection is also required.
- Buildings HP51, HP53, HP55, and HP57: Installation of new asphalt shingle roofs. This involves removal of existing components, decking replacement (up to 2,825 sq. ft. per building), new ice and watershield, architectural asphalt shingles, metal drip edge, truss framing repair, new pre-finished aluminum fascia and vented vinyl soffit, vented ridge cap, gutters, downspouts, expansion joints, lead boots, exhaust fans, roof hatches, and dormer re-shingling.
- General Requirements: All work must comply with OSHA standards, UFC, IBC, NFPA, ABA, ADA, and ICC/ANSI A117.1. Facilities will remain operational, requiring minimal interference. Field verification of existing conditions is mandatory. Asbestos and Lead-Based Paint are present, requiring contractors to review surveys and submit remediation plans. Compliance with the MCB Camp Lejeune Contractor Environmental Guide is essential.
