Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To outline the requirements for janitorial services at the Burley Creek Hatchery.

• Location: Burley Creek Hatchery, 11421 Bethel-Burley Rd SE, Port Orchard, WA 98367.

• Areas to be serviced: Approximately 1,400 sq ft including entry, stairway/hallways, general office areas, one private office, one lab, one restroom, and kitchenette/lunchroom.

• Frequency: Full service to be performed every other week, any weekday between 7 am and 3:30 pm Pacific Time. Bi-annual services (mopping, carpet cleaning, spot cleaning, furniture polishing, window cleaning) to be performed any weekday between 7 am and 3:30 pm Pacific Time, with advance notice required.

• Tasks include: Emptying trash/recycling, cleaning sinks/drains/fixtures, washing dishes, cleaning/sanitizing restrooms, dusting surfaces, sweeping hard floors, vacuuming carpets and upholstery, damp wiping chairs, cleaning/disinfecting touch points, cleaning microwaves/refrigerators, and restocking supplies.

• Services must be performed satisfactorily.

• Defective services may require re-performance at no additional cost or a reduction in contract price.

• All products used must be environmentally friendly, non-toxic, biodegradable, and made from renewable sources.

• Paper products must be made of recovered materials per EPA guidelines.

• Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemicals must be provided and kept on file.

• Period of Performance: June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027, with four 1-year option periods.
