This Solicitation shall result in a firm fixed-price contract for the period of one (1) year and four (4) option years upon award. The contractor will provide semi-annual and annual cleaning services for the VCS Canteen and Dietetics kitchen hood systems, ductwork, and fans at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System. Services shall be performed at both the Fort Wayne Campus located at 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805 and the Marion Campus located at 1700 E. 38th Street, Marion, IN 46953.
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to clean and restore the kitchen exhaust systems to NFPA 96 and IKECA standards. Cleaning shall include grease removal devices, duct systems, blower units, and exhaust fans. A VA HVAC employee will assist with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures. The contractor shall coordinate all cleanings with the COR and Maintenance Department Supervisors, providing a minimum four-week notice prior to service.
All work shall comply with OSHA, State, County, and Municipal safety regulations. Contractor personnel must be experienced, certified, and authorized to perform services. IKECA certifications (CECS, CECT, CECI, PECT, or CESI) are required for all Field Service Technicians. Subcontractors must be approved by the COR. Services shall be performed Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays, and only after kitchen areas are closed.
This procurement has been set-aside 100% for award to Small Business concerns. Offers from other than Small Business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. Anticipated award date is January 16, 2026, for a base period of one (1) year with four (4) additional one (1) year options.
