Scope of Work
The selected contractor will be responsible for providing professional working footwear that meets OSHA safety standards for engineering, maintenance, and logistic staff at the Dallas VA Medical Center, Garland VA Medical Center, and Sam Rayburn Memorial Veteran Center. Key services include:
- Conducting mobile onsite shoe fitting sessions at specified VA facilities.
- Providing off-site fitting and ordering services for new employees and emergency replacements.
- Ensuring all footwear meets OSHA safety standards, including crush-resistant toe, puncture-proof sole, and slip-resistant sole, and is made from leather, going above the ankle for support.
- Supplying a catalog of compliant footwear within 14 days of award.
- Establishing a written schedule for initial visits within 7 days of award.
- Managing footwear provision for approximately 300 employees, with an anticipated 30 replacement/new employee needs annually. Each employee is allotted a maximum of $250 per pair, paid by the Government.
Contract Details
