Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all management, labor, materials, equipment, design, installation, configuration, integration, testing, warranty, as-built drawings, product data, and turnover for a complete and fully functional Electronic Security System upgrade. Key components include:
- Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Expansion: To detect unauthorized entry in the new Secure Area Perimeter, utilizing dual-technology volumetric sensors and integrating with the existing IDS panel.
- Video Surveillance System (VSS) Enhancement: To provide clear, real-time visual identification, with feeds routed to primary workstations and security offices.
- Access Control System (ACS) Restoration and Expansion: Upgrading and restoring the existing Software House C-Cure 9000 system, including repair/replacement of damaged components and integration of new access control points with FIPS 201-compliant readers.
- Stand-Alone HSPD-12 Compliant ACS: Implementation of a dedicated system for the main building entrance (Passage 101/Vestibule) supporting at least 500 personnel, operating independently. All work must adhere to the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Statement of Objectives (SOO), and relevant standards (UFGS, UFC, UL, ICS, FIPS). Personnel must be U.S. citizens, pass background checks, and complete Antiterrorism Awareness Level I training.
