Scope of Work
The contractor will perform comprehensive inspection, servicing, testing, and certification of the specified Mako SCBA Compressors. This includes:
- Visual inspection and verification of no unauthorized alterations.
- Inspection of purification and moisture separator chambers, alarms, shutdown controls, gauges, and relief valves.
- Annual maintenance, including manufacturer-recommended hourly tasks, fluid level verification, oil/filter replacement, drive belt inspection, and lubrication.
- A one-hour functional performance test to verify operation, inter-stage pressures, alarms, shutdowns, and emergency stops.
- Drawing and submitting air samples for accredited laboratory testing to ensure breathing air quality meets specified requirements (Oxygen, CO, CO2, Oil, Particulate, Water, VOC, Nitrogen, Odor).
