Key testing certifications include Annealing and Age Hardening, and Ultrasonic Inspection for QQ-N-286 material with a diameter of 4 inches or greater. Slow Strain Rate Tensile Tests must be performed by one of the Government-approved laboratories. Detailed thread inspection per FED-STD-H28 series and O-ring groove inspection using the GAC standard CSD008 are mandatory. The material must be mercury-free.

Government Quality Assurance (GQA) will be performed at the source, necessitating contractor notification to DCMA. Prime contractors are responsible for assessing and auditing subcontractor quality.
