First Article Testing (FAT)

• Tests: FAT includes visual/dimensional inspection, initial and final leak tests (1.0 +/- 0.05 PSIG, monitored for 30 minutes), and an 18-inch free fall drop test.
• Waiver: A waiver of FAT requirements may be granted for offerors with identical production within the last three years at the same facility, provided specific certification and submission of two prices (with and without FAT).
