This solicitation is for the rental of six (6) self-contained, walk-in refrigerated units (electric) for food and medicine storage. The rental period is for approximately three months with options to extend for up to two additional six-month periods. The units will be used at Norfolk Naval Shipyard.

• Six (6) self-contained, walk-in refrigerated units, each a minimum of 8' wide x 8' high x 40' long.

• Units must be electrically powered, capable of running 24/7, rated at 200 amps or less, and maintain temperatures between -3 to 42 degrees Fahrenheit.

• Units must be hurricane proof (110 MPH winds) and water-resistant.

• Forklift channels (5"x10") or suitable overhead lifting attachments are required.

• Units must have exterior camlok connections, be compliant with NFPA, NEC, and OSHA regulations.

• Each unit requires specific labeling, outward-swinging doors with locks, and a lifting sketch/rigging diagram.

• Blast-proof interior light fixtures are required.

• On-call repair service within 12 hours of notification, with component replacement within 16 hours if not repaired.
