Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This project aims to renovate the Microbiology Laboratory in Building 100 at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) to create a new configuration and replace existing fume hoods.

• General construction, interior finishes, alterations, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and utility systems.

• Specific work includes renovations in Clin Microbio E4-304, Ster E4-304A, TB Lab E4-304B, Myc Lab E4-304C, Office E4-304D, and Proc/Spec Coll E4-302.

• Tasks include demolition of existing casework, sinks, and fume hoods; installation of new metal stud pony walls and plumbing chase walls; installation of new metal casework with epoxy resin countertops and integral sinks; installation of new BioSafety cabinets; replacement of flooring, wall paint, and ceiling tiles.
