Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive solid waste, construction and demolition (C&D) waste, and recycling collection, hauling, dumping, and reporting services within Zion National Park's Main Canyon and Kolob Canyon. Key services include:
- Collection and hauling of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) from residential/housing, campgrounds, administrative, and maintenance structures.
- Collection and hauling of C&D waste using two 30-yard roll-off containers.
- Recycling services for five commingled dumpsters.
- Emergency waste removal and on-call services (up to $2,500 per service).
- Monthly and quarterly reporting on waste weights, tonnage, and diversion.
The contractor is responsible for providing all management, supervision, labor, tools, materials, supplies, and equipment, as well as maintaining MSW and C&D dumpsters. Services must adhere to specific performance standards, including container cleanliness, timely collection, and adherence to safety regulations.
