Scope of Work
This opportunity seeks A-E firms capable of providing comprehensive planning, design, and related services for civil works missions. The contractor will serve as the designer of record for individual projects. Services required are multidisciplinary, including but not limited to:
- Structural, Civil Site, Relocations, Electrical, Mechanical, and Architectural disciplines.
- Bridges: Inspection, design, repair (various types and materials), requiring registered professional structural/bridge engineers.
- Utilities: Inspection, design, repair for electric, water, sewer, gas, and other systems, requiring registered professionals in sanitary, civil, electrical, mechanical, and landscape engineering.
- Designs/Plans and Specifications: Development of P&S with calculations, cost estimates, schedules, and reports for structures, vertical construction, mechanical/electrical systems, and civil/site features. Requires certified Registered Professional Engineers, Surveyors, Architects, and Landscape Architects.
- CADD/BIM: Conformance to Tri-Service A/E/C CADD Standards, using Inventor, Revit, Bentley BIM, MicroStation, or AutoCAD.
- Survey: State-of-the-art survey capability, including field data collection and verification.
- Investigations: Field and office investigations.
- Engineering during Construction: Registered engineering staff for advice, clarification, and inspection.
- Field Reconnaissance: Verification of utility locations.
- Site Improvements: Design for grading, planting, access, and protective measures.
