Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and services to procure and outfit six medium-duty truck chassis vehicles (e.g., Ford F-550/650, Chevrolet 5500/6500) with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) not exceeding 26,001 lbs. Key requirements include:
- Vehicles must be capable of driving on and off USAF C-17 and C-5 cargo planes without additional ramps or lifts.
- Outfitting with a flatbed (max 94 in. wide x 178 in. long) and an integrated A-frame capable of supporting up to 3000 lbs. per side (6000 lbs. total) of transparent armor.
- Installation of a retractable cover over the flatbed and storage areas for equipment.
- Vehicles must be prepared for emergency lighting installation and have a flatbed cargo capacity of at least 6500 lbs.
