Quick Summary

The Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is conducting market research through a Sources Sought notice to identify interested and capable businesses for the production of a Hand Held Assembly (HHA), NSN: 6665-01-568-0616. This effort aims to gather information for a potential future contract. Responses are due by Monday, April 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST.

Scope of Work

ACC-DTA seeks manufacturers for the Hand Held Assembly (Part No: 5-15-32277), a military-unique component. This HHA is an antibody-based test strip designed to detect and identify Ricin and Staphylococcal Enterotoxin B (SEB) as part of the Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS) and Joint Chemical Biological Radiological Water Monitor (JCBRAWM). Estimated annual quantities are 7920 units for Year 1, followed by 720 units annually for Years 2-5.

Technical Requirements

First Article Testing (FAT) is required for this procurement. A Technical Data Package (TDP) is associated but restricted to US Government agencies and their contractors (Distribution Code "C"). Access to the TDP will only be granted if a solicitation is released, requiring a current DD 2345 (Military Critical Technical Data Agreement) on file with DLIS and active Joint Certification Program (JCP) registration.
