The Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is conducting market research to gauge industry interest and capabilities for the production of a Hand Held Assembly (NSN 6665-01-568-0616, Part No. 5-15-32277). This component is part of the Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS) and the Joint Chemical Biological Radiological Water Monitor (JCBRAWM).

• Item: Hand Held Assembly (HHA) - an antibody-based test strip for detecting Ricin and Staphylococcal Enterotoxin B (SEB).

• Estimated Quantity: 7920 units per year for 5 years (1BX = 60ea).

• Technical Data Package (TDP): Available to contractors with a current DD 2345 certification upon release of a future solicitation. Access requires a request through SAM.gov and verification of Joint Certification Program (JCP) registration. All TDPs must be destroyed after use.

• First Article Testing (FAT): Required for this procurement.

• Action: Vendors interested in producing the Hand Held Assembly should complete and return the provided survey.
