The successful contractor must possess substantial facilities on the West Coast, including a pier capable of accommodating a 510 ft DDG51-class ship (requiring >509 ft pier length) with specific electrical, potable water, sea water, sewage, and compressed air capabilities. A dry dock capable of supporting a DDG51 Class Ship is also required.
