The contractor will be responsible for delivering these meals daily, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays and training days, and potentially on up to 28 Saturdays annually. Additional "mission day" meals may be required for applicants processing late into the evening.

• Daily delivery of boxed meals to the MEPS Control Desk by 09:30 a.m.

• Meals must be prepared at a government-approved facility, meeting all sanitation and food safety standards.

• Each boxed meal must include a sub-type sandwich, lettuce, tomato, bag of chips, cookie, apple, straw, and napkin.

• Specifics for sandwich types (e.g., ham, turkey, roast beef, veggie), meat (4.0 oz minimum), cheese (2 slices, 1 oz minimum), chips (1 oz bag), dessert (cookie), fruit (apple/orange), and beverages (carbonated soft drinks, water, tea, milk) are detailed.

• Condiments (mustard, mayo, salt, pepper, vinaigrette) must be included.

• Meals must be packaged in sturdy containers, clearly marked with the contents (e.g., ham, turkey, veggie).

• "Mission day" meals may include additional selections like hot sandwiches.

• The government estimates approximately 264 service days per year, with potential for additional "mission day" meals.

• The government will provide an annual operations schedule and notify the contractor in advance of any days services are not required.

• Invoices are to be submitted monthly, no later than the third work day of the month following delivery.

• The contractor must maintain a program of self-inspection and make records available to the KO.

• Contractors must have Real ID to enter the military installation.

• Subcontracting or furnishing meals from a location other than the one specified in the contract requires prior written consent from the Contracting Officer (KO).

• Historical data for lunch quantities provided from December 2024 to November 2025 is included for informational purposes only.

• The contractor must inform the KO immediately if their facility is no longer sanitarily approved.
