Scope of Work

This contract requires the manufacture of SPRING,FLAT according to specified design and quality requirements. Key aspects include:

  • Manufacture of items represented by Cage Code 53711, reference number 5762142.
  • Physical identification in accordance with MIL-STD-130, REV N.
  • Compliance with MIL-DTL-19595 for applicable documents.

Key Requirements & Testing

  • Production Lot Testing (PLT): 100% inspection required. All units must be delivered to NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER INDIAN HEAD EOD TECHNOLOGY DIVISION for testing. The EOD Technician has 90 days for testing/inspection, and the contract administrator has an additional 30 days to notify the contractor (total 120 days). Material Certificates of Conformance (C of Cs) are required for all PLT materials.
  • First Article Testing (FAT): Required. Five (5) units must be delivered to NSWC Indian Head EOD Technology Center for testing. The Government has 90 days to test and inspect the first article units. A Test/Inspection Report is required. Material C of Cs are required for all FAT materials.
  • Non-Magnetic Testing: Not required for this specific material, as per Note 6.5.
  • Design Changes: Specific procedures and codes apply for changes in design, material, servicing, or part number, requiring approval from the NAVICP-MECH Contracting Officer.
  • Packaging: MIL-STD 2073 packaging applies.

Contract Details & Evaluation
