• Electrical Process & Spider Boxes: The RFI inquired about the electrical process, specifically regarding existing and wired spider boxes, or if new ones need to be provided. The response clarifies that an existing J-box, located under the floor, will be utilized as part of the project.

This clarification provides specific detail about existing infrastructure (J-box location) relevant to the electrical work for the additional workstations. Bidders should incorporate this information into their understanding of the project scope and any associated electrical requirements.

Amendment / Modification

This document is Amendment 01 to the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation FA251726QA004. The primary changes are:

• The delivery date has been updated.

• The deadline for submitting quotes has been extended. All amendments must be acknowledged with quote submission.

Statement of Work (SOW)

This SOW outlines the requirements for providing and installing new modular furniture and systems at USSF/SSC Bldg. 1840, RM LO3D, Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs, CO 80914.

• Installation of new 50" powered panels, 16" stack panels, new panels, worksurfaces, and station components to match existing furniture.

• Each workstation will include a BBF, FF pedestal, curved wave corner work surfaces, overhead storage with LED lights/tack boards, panel mounted coat hooks, and three duplex outlets.

• Finish requirements include grade 2 fabrics and metallic paint with wood grain laminate work surfaces.

• Contractor must provide and install all electrical connections, including base feeds and infrastructure from spider box to j boxes underfloor.

• Contractor must provide a licensed electrician for power disconnects, connections, and wire installation.

• Design services including space planning, site verification, material selection, and programming are required.

• The contractor must manage ordering, shipment, delivery, and installation of all new furniture.

• Installation must be performed by manufacturer-certified professionals.

• Includes removal of packing materials and protection of existing building materials during installation.

• Work must comply with applicable building standards and codes (NFPA 70, NFPA 101).

• Designs must ensure accessible outlets, limit cubicles per circuit (max 4), and limit triplex outlets per circuit (max 2).

• Designs must conform to Architectural Barriers Act regarding accessibility.

• Final installation must be free of surface dirt and defects, level, square, and in proper alignment.

• Project Location: Bldg. 1840, Peterson AFB, CO 80914.

• Delivery: Maximum of 30 days storage for new products.

• Customer Service: Normal duty hours (0700-1700), Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays.

• Workers must be US citizens; a listing of workers with full name, SSN, place of birth, and citizenship is required 3 days before visit.

• Personnel requiring base access must provide Full Name, Date of Birth, Driver's License Number, and Issuing State 5 days prior to entry.

• Contractor must be an authorized dealer of specified furniture manufacturers.

• Contractor must provide a contract manager and a project manager.

• All personnel must be identifiable as contractor employees and present a neat appearance.

• Base access procedures must be followed, including vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and valid driver's licenses.

• Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) requirements must be followed.

• Site conditions include free and clear access, adequate parking/off-loading, and a staging area.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This document is a Single Source Justification for the acquisition of two (2) additional Haworth branded workstations. These workstations are needed to integrate with the existing office furniture at Building 1840, Peterson Space Force Base (SFB), ensuring functional and aesthetic compatibility and avoiding workplace disruptions.

• Two (2) additional Haworth branded workstations.

• The workstations must seamlessly match the current Haworth setup.

• Detailed description, quantity, and layout are provided in Attachments 1, 2, and 3.

• The contract type is not specified, but it is a simplified acquisition.

• The period of performance and estimated cost are TBD.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, constituting the sole solicitation. It is a brand name requirement for Haworth branded workstations. The purpose is to procure two (2) additional Haworth branded workstations to integrate with existing office furniture at Building 1840 on Peterson Space Force Base (SFB).

• Haworth brand office furniture for 2 additional workstations, including workstation panels, walls, power, cubicle desks, and chairs.

• Installation and project management services.

• Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Priced Purchase Order.

• Period of Performance: Delivery required on or before 4 Weeks after receipt of award.

• Estimated Value: Not specified.

• Submission Deadline: Quotes due by 10:00 A.M. (MT) on 05 February 2026.

• Submission Format: Submit quotes to the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer via email. Maximum of 5 pages for the quote response.

• Evaluation Factors: Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote is most advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors. Evaluation will be based on:
