Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is for the removal and replacement of ten (10) existing exterior doors and frames on the UPH and Main Buildings at USCG Station Atlantic City. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses using NAICS code 236220 and a size standard of $45 Million annually. The government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price contract.

• Removal and replacement of ten (10) existing exterior doors and frames.

• Work is detailed in the attached Statement of Work.

• Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price.

• Period of Performance: Contractor shall begin performance within 5 calendar days and complete within 90 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed.

• Performance and Payment Bonds are required.

• Submission Deadline: May 01, 2026, by 3:00 PM Eastern Time.

• Questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Specialist via email no later than NOON APR 24, 2026.

• Evaluation criteria are detailed in FAR 52.212-2.

• Offers providing less than 60 calendar days for Government acceptance will be rejected.

• 100% Small Business set-aside.

• NAICS Code: 236220.

• Size Standard: $45 Million annually.

• Interested parties are strongly encouraged to arrange site visits with Jon Christiansen at least three (3) days in advance.

• Visitors must complete a visitor access request form and present valid identification. Full name, date of birth, and last 4 of SSN are required for access.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to remove and replace ten (10) existing exterior doors and frames on the UPH and Main Buildings at U.S. Coast Guard Station Atlantic City.

• Removal and disposal of all existing exterior door assemblies and associated hardware.

• Installation of nine (9) single exterior metal door and frame assemblies.

• Installation of one (1) double exterior metal door and frame assembly.

• Installation of new push-button door locks and handles comparable to Kaba Simplex 1000 Series on all ten doors.

• Installation of all required associated hardware, including hinges, closers, thresholds, weatherstripping, strike plates, etc.

• Performing all required finish work, adjustments, and weatherproofing, including epoxy paint spraying doors white.

• Programming initial access codes for the new locks.

• Ensuring site security is maintained throughout the project.

• Conducting a final operational inspection and correcting any deficiencies.

• Providing all warranty documentation upon completion.

• Work shall be completed within ninety (90) calendar days of notice to proceed.

• Location: U.S. Coast Guard Station Atlantic City, 900 Beach Thorofare, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.

• Normal working hours are 0730–1700, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, unless otherwise approved.

• Contractor must field verify all dimensions and conditions prior to ordering materials.

• All work must comply with OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations.

• Contractor must provide and dispose of all removed materials offsite.

• Doors and frames must be exterior-grade, corrosion-resistant, and compliant with applicable building, life safety, and accessibility requirements.

• Contractor personnel and vehicles require identification and access procedures.

• Adherence to safety and environmental protection requirements is mandatory.

• A site visit is strongly encouraged for bidders.
