Statement of Work (SOW)

To remove and replace ten (10) existing exterior doors and frames on the UPH and Main Buildings at USCG Station Atlantic City.

• Removal and disposal of all existing exterior door assemblies and associated hardware.
• Installation of new exterior metal security doors and frames.
• Installation of new push-button door locks/handles (comparable to Kaba Simplex 1000 Series) on all ten (10) exterior doors.
• Installation of new hardware including hinges, closers, panic/exit devices (if required), thresholds, door sweeps, weatherstripping, and strike plates.
• All new door and frame assemblies must be exterior-grade metal, corrosion-resistant, and compliant with applicable building, life safety, and accessibility requirements.
• Field verification of all dimensions and requirements prior to ordering materials.
• Proper disposal of all removed materials in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Finishing work to include factory-finished or field-finished coatings suitable for marine/coastal environments, with doors epoxy painted white.

Work shall be completed within ninety (90) calendar days of notice to proceed.

• Lockout/tag-out electrical supply power as required by OSHA.
• Site visit strongly encouraged for bidders to verify quantities and dimensions.
• Contractor must coordinate site access, delivery, and timing with the Station Atlantic City Representative.
• Normal working hours are 0730–1700, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, unless otherwise approved.
• Contractor must provide a list of all employees for access and security purposes.
• Adherence to all federal safety regulations (OSHA) and environmental regulations (EPA).
• Obtain all necessary permits and licenses at no additional cost to the Government.
• Maintain site security and clean up the job site daily.
• Provide warranty documentation for all work upon completion.

• Installation of one (1) double exterior metal door and frame assembly.

• Installation of all required associated hardware, including hinges, closers, thresholds, weatherstripping, strike plates, etc.

• Performing all required finish work, adjustments, and weatherproofing, including epoxy paint spraying doors white.

• Programming initial access codes for the new locks.

• Ensuring site security is maintained throughout the project.
