Scope of Work
The contractor will remove and dispose of existing exterior door assemblies and install ten (10) new exterior metal security doors and frames on the UPH and Main Buildings. This includes installing new push-button door locks (comparable to Kaba Simplex 1000 Series) at two locations, and lever locksets with BEST 7-Pin cylinders (cylindrical) at other locations, with one door receiving a blank back plate for exit-only use. All doors must be 316 stainless steel, weather-coated, and all applicable hardware must be 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance. Finish work includes epoxy painting doors white and ensuring a clean, professional finish with necessary drywall and wall paint repairs around frames. Field verification of dimensions is mandatory.
