Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To furnish all labor, equipment, parts, and transportation for the supply, delivery, removal, disposal, and assembly of new bedroom furniture for 102 rooms at Dorms Facilities, Bldg. 1426, Aviano Air Base, Italy.

• Removal and disposal of current furniture and packing waste.

• Installation and assembly of new furniture, including:

  • Four Drawer Under Bed Storage Unit with low profile wheels
  • Three Drawer Chest
  • Three Shelf Bookcase (mounted to 3 Drawer Chest)
  • Three Drawer Nightstand
  • One Drawer Desk with full-width drawer
  • Two Position Chair with upholstered seat and back fabric
  • Slat Bed on metal legs
  • Fireproof Mattress

• Work to be performed on regular working hours (Mo-Fri 7:30 - 17:00).

• Total delivery and installation to be completed between 90-120 working days from receipt of order, with installation itself taking 6 weeks.

• Removal of old furniture and installation of new furniture must occur on the same day for each room.

• Contractor shall submit detailed drawings with their quotation.

• All measurements must be verified by the contractor prior to building units and may be modified to fit standard sizing, but must be verified with the user prior to submittal.

• Location: Bldg. 1426, Aviano Air Base, Italy.

• Delivery and Installation: 90-120 working days from receipt of order.

• Installation Phase: 6 weeks.

• Materials: Hardwoods such as Oak, Beech, Ash, and Maple required. No fiberboard, particleboard, MDF, or plywood components. Exterior and interior surfaces shall be solid hard wood or hard wood veneer. Framing materials shall be solid hard wood. Joints must be stronger than the substrate. Minimum 2mm thick ABS plastic for edges/borders.

• Drawer Handles: Must be metal.

• Color: Cherry.

• Installation Access: Contractor must obtain a pass from LVIS gate and may require escort. Equipment must be self-supported without modifications to walls or floors.

• Lifting: Contractor must provide their own lifting means to reach European 2nd floor, as the facility elevator is limited.

• Site Support: Dorm Management will provide space for 2 mobile dumpster containers.

• Warranty: Commercial Manufacturer Warranty terms must be submitted separately.

• Total delivery and installation to be completed between 90-120 working days from receipt of order (excluding US and Family days for FY2026 & FY2027).

• Installation phase to be completed within 6 weeks.

• A Commercial Manufacturer Warranty must be submitted separately.

• Contractor must submit detailed drawings with their quotation, including dimensions and capacities.

• Measurements may be modified to fit standard sizing but must be verified with the user prior to submittal.

• A tolerance of not greater than 1" / 2.5 cm is acceptable for dimensions, provided functionality is not reduced.
