Scope of Work

  • Preventative Maintenance (PM): Quarterly service for each of the seven machines, totaling 28 PM inspections annually. This includes thorough inspection, operation of controls, checking/emptying hoppers, inspecting filters, belts, brushes, motors, and batteries, and replacing worn parts due to normal use.
  • Diagnostic Trips: Up to three government-authorized diagnostic trips per year to identify repair needs and return equipment to operational status. Additional trips require Contracting Officer authorization.
  • Over and Above Work: Repairs beyond standard PM, requiring advance written authorization from the Contracting Officer. This covers labor, transportation, tools, materials, and parts, and will be billed under specific Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs). For "over and above" work exceeding $2,500.00 per part/material, quotations from three suppliers are required, and parts must be provided at contractor's cost without markup.

Performance Standards

  • Invoices for services must be submitted within five (5) business days.
  • Diagnostic trips must be scheduled within three (3) business days of notification.
  • Repairs from diagnostic trips are to be completed within ten (10) business days, unless part lead time dictates otherwise.
