Quick Summary
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is conducting market research through a Request for Information (RFI) for Tactical Communications and Technical Investigative Comprehensive Solutions (TACTICS). This RFI aims to identify qualified and interested sources to determine the feasibility of establishing a Multi-Agency Contract (IDIQ) for these solutions. Responses are due by February 6, 2026.
Purpose
This RFI is for informational and planning purposes only, not a solicitation. DHS seeks to gather information from industry to inform future acquisition strategies for a potential IDIQ contract. The goal is to procure a wide variety of TACTICS commodity equipment and related services, supporting legacy systems and enabling access to updated, interoperable technology.
Scope of Requirements
DHS requires access to comprehensive TACTICS solutions, encompassing both Tactical Communications (TACCOM) and Technical Operations (TechOps) Equipment and Services. Specific requirements will be defined at the order level under a future IDIQ.

Key Considerations
This is a market research RFI only and does not constitute a solicitation or Request for Proposal (RFP). Responses are not offers and cannot be accepted to form a binding contract. The government will not reimburse respondents for costs incurred. DHS may hold one-on-one meetings with vendors who provide comprehensive responses.
Set-Aside: None specified for this RFI.
