Key Requirements for Offerors
- OEM/Distributor: If not the Original End Manufacturer (OEM), offerors must state the OEM (Company Name and CAGE) and provide a signed letter of authorization as a distributor on the OEM’s letterhead. Only authorized distributors will be considered.
- Repair Process: Vendors must provide an estimated repair price. After receipt of carcass(es), vendors have 90 days to complete a teardown & evaluation (TD&E) and submit a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) quote for the full repair effort.
- Pricing Details: Quotes must include the cost of new (actual or estimated) for evaluation purposes, and all costs associated with complete repair of material, including unwhole or damaged items.
- Repair Turn Around Time (RTAT): Offerors must propose an RTAT, with a requested RTAT of 125 days. Failure to meet the required RTAT will incur price reductions.
- Information Required in Quote: Teardown & Evaluation Rate, Repair Turn Around Time (RTAT), Throughput Constraint, and Induction Expiration Date.
