• Repair Requirements: Repair work must meet operational and functional requirements, performed according to contractor's standard practices, manuals, and approved documents.
• Mercury-Free Material: All material supplied must be free from metallic mercury contamination. Written approval is required from the Contracting Officer if mercury is a functional part.
• Marking: Items shall be physically identified in accordance with MIL-STD-130, REV N, 16 NOV 2012.
• Packaging: Preservation, Packaging, Packing, and Marking shall be in accordance with MIL-STD 2073.

Key Requirements for Offerors

• Authorized Distributors: Only authorized distributors of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) will be considered. Proof of authorization on company letterhead, signed by a responsible official, must be provided with the offer.
• OEM Information: If the offeror is not the OEM, the OEM's name and CAGE must be stated, along with a signed letter of authorization.
• Quote Details: Quotes must include the estimated repair price for the full effort, the cost of new (actual or estimated) for evaluation, and specify any exceptions (e.g., MIL-STD Packaging, Inspection & Acceptance locations).
• Rated Order: Any contract awarded will be DO certified for national defense under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS).
