- Environmental & Safety: Develop an Accident Prevention Plan (APP) per EM 385-1-1 and Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA). Monitor for cultural resources (work stops if found, potential compensation for standby). Hazardous materials are not expected, but plans for handling them are required if encountered.
- Logistics: Contractor is responsible for finding disposal sites for debris (concrete, trash, metal). Tracked equipment is permitted but must not traverse paved roads; any damage must be repaired. Portable internal combustion equipment must be CARB registered.
