Scope of Work
The government seeks information on industry's capabilities in:
- Research and Development (R&D) and Technical Capability: Developing systems with optimized signature management across multiple spectral ranges (UV, visible, NIR, SWIR, MWIR, LWIR, Radar). This includes experience in Camouflage, Concealment, Deception (CC&D) and demonstrating multispectral performance and durability.
- Production & Manufacturing Capacity: Current and projected capacity, including the ability to surge production up to 10,000 units per month, and approaches for on-demand, battlefield-specific camouflage solutions.
System Requirements:
- Physical/Logistical: Combined weight and volume not to exceed 105 lbs and 10.0 cubic feet per system (dry and packaged).
- Camouflage Screens: Must provide multispectral concealment, be modular, offer radar-scattering or transparent options, include 3-7 colors, and allow for reversible patterns.
- Support System: Must not degrade screen effectiveness, be non-metallic if possible, and withstand wind gusts up to 46 mph.
