• Active Non-Compliance Issues: The only active non-compliance issue noted is a failed SB989 test from 2024 at UEWR, with repairs planned for the T-1 Diesel turbine and L-9 Boiler sumps.
• UST/AST Out of Service Limits: For emergency repairs, contractors are expected to respond within three days. If a system is expected to be down longer than three days, the contractor must communicate reasons for delay and estimated completion dates to 9 CES/CEIE Environmental, AAFES, and UEWR facility managers.
• Waste Disposal: Beale has resources for hazardous and non-hazardous waste collection and disposal. Prior coordination with 9 CES/CEIE Attn HazWaste Mgr is essential for proper containers, capacity, and funding.
• Vendor Qualifications: In addition to Veeder-Root, required certifications and training include ARB-approved manuals for Phase I and Phase II Enhanced Vapor Recovery (EVR) and Balance EVR systems, ISD systems, and ICC UST Installation/Retrofitting certification.
• Routine Service Repairs: Minor corrective repairs include replacing dispenser hoses, nozzles, hanging hardware, EVR vent caps, tank caps, leak detection sensors, seals, gaskets, drop tube assemblies, or spill buckets, provided they do not require breaking concrete.
• Add'l Work Example: Add'l work for $40,000 could include the replacement of a dispenser or pump.
• NTE Costs: NTE costs include all expenses for potential service repairs, including labor and equipment.
• Access/Security: No specific security requirements are needed for contractors accessing the UEWR area, as they will be escorted.
• Prohibited Items: Cameras, iPads, and Bluetooth devices cannot be brought on site without prior coordination with the 7 SWS Security Manager.
