• Complex or specialized facilities (e.g., medical or research facilities).

• New civil works flood risk reduction facilities.

• Design of new and renovated structures, military building and site design, unique structures, sustainable design, commissioning, general site engineering, and military master planning.

• Planning and design for civil works infrastructure, environmental engineering, value engineering, project scheduling, modeling of coastal and inland waterways, diagnostics, assessments, site investigation, and historical preservation.

• Preparation of design drawings, technical specifications, construction cost estimates, design and construction schedules, design analyses, engineering calculations, design-build requests for proposal, conceptual designs, planning studies, engineering studies, LEED project documentation, commissioning reports, and value engineering studies.

• Development of documents for Design-Bid-Build (DBB) or Design-Build (D-B) procurements, including various design phases (concept, schematic, design development, final construction documents) and RFP development for D-B.

• Use of specific software including Microstation or Autodesk CADD, Autodesk Revit BIM, SPECSINTACT, MII, Primavera P6, MS Project, and ProjNet (DrChecks).

• Total shared capacity of the MATOC: $180,000,000.
