Scope of Work
The primary mission of the local guard service is to provide protection for United States personnel, facilities, and equipment from violent attack and theft. Services include preventing unauthorized access, protecting life, maintaining order, deterring criminal and terrorist attacks, and preventing damage to U.S. assets.
Key Capabilities Required
Vendors must clearly demonstrate capabilities through examples of previous or current guard security contracts, specifically addressing:
- Compliance with host country laws (licenses, labor, taxes).
- Ability to provide required insurance coverage.
- Furnishing, operating, and maintaining a radio network.
- Familiarity with security equipment (e.g., GEMS, CAMS, CCTV, x-ray).
