Quick Summary

The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) has issued a Rapid Acquisition Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) to acquire innovative commercial technologies and services. This CSO acts as a framework for specific "Calls" for proposals. The latest active solicitation, Call 005, seeks an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered automated high school and college transcript processing and scoring capability for USAFA admissions. Scope of Opportunity

Specific Areas of Interest (AoIs) are announced through individual "Calls" issued as amendments.

  • Convert GPA scales to a standardized 4.0 scale and a configurable USAFA scale.
  • Support various file types (PDF, common images).
  • Provide a user interface for data review and correction.
  • Process transcripts 24/7/365 with a maximum two-day turnaround.
  • Integrate with USAFA's Salesforce CRM.
  • Preferably operate in an Impact Level 4 (IL4) processing environment and support natural language processing for custom queries.
  • Prohibited: Use of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in AI processing.

Submission & Evaluation

Submissions for specific calls follow a two or three-phased process. For Call 005, interested offerors must submit Quad Charts and Solution Briefs (Phase I). These will be evaluated based on technical merit/applicability, importance to agency programs, and funds availability.
