• Tank Inspection: Visually inspect all interior surfaces, including bulkheads, plating, structural members, manhole covers, fasteners, and gasket seating surfaces. Assess tank structural condition, inaccessible areas, coating condition, tank level indicator (TLI) and float switch condition, sounding tube and striker plate condition, and piping condition.

• Waste Disposal: Dispose of removed fluids and cleaning waste in compliance with all Federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain a chain of custody record for all removed contents and generated wastes.

• Operational Tests: Witness initial and post-repair operational tests of the Tank Level Indicators (TLIs) performed by Coast Guard personnel.

• Plug Log: Maintain a written record of all plugs inserted into tank vents and ensure their removal upon work completion. The plug log must be available for Coast Guard inspection.

• Tank Closing: Ensure tanks remain open for at least 24 hours post-repair. Notify the COR 24 hours prior to closing and complete closure in the presence of a Coast Guard Inspector.

• Documentation: Submit a "Tank and Void Assessment Form" via CFR and a complete chain of custody record for waste disposal.
