• Welding/Brazing: Must comply with S9074-AR-GIB-010A/278 and other specified standards, with required procedure and qualification data submissions.
• Government Furnished Material (GFM): NSN 1H9510-01-495-9543X2 will be supplied for the manufacture of stems.
• Traceability: Strict material traceability and certification requirements for Level I/SUBSAFE materials, including unique traceability numbers and marking.

• NOFORN Access: Requires access to NOFORN and/or Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information; a security agreement form is required to obtain drawings.
• First Article Testing (FAT): Required for one unit, with a 30-day approval period. Forging sketches and First Article Testing for forgings are also required for the body and bonnet.
• Quality System: Must provide and maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO-9001 (with ISO-10012 or ANSI-Z540.3/ISO-17025 calibration) or MIL-I-45208 (with MIL-STD-45662 calibration).
• Evaluation: Past performance will be considered in accordance with FAR 13.106(a)(2).
