The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 7, is soliciting proposals for a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to provide Portable Chiller Rental (550 Tons) for continuous temporary cooling services at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, GA. This acquisition is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The solicitation closing date has been extended to April 27, 2026, at 12 PM EST.

Scope of Work

The requirement is for the rental, delivery, installation, start-up, maintenance support, and removal of a 550-ton portable chiller system. The primary purpose is to obtain continuous temporary cooling services, with the equipment being incidental to the service. The vendor must provide one (1) 550-ton electric-powered, air-cooled chiller with its own breakers and main disconnect. The facility will provide a 480V, 3-phase, 1200-amp electrical connection approximately 75 feet from the chiller placement area (tentatively Parking Lot 11). The vendor must supply necessary hoses, couplers, adaptors, and cabling for a 200-foot run to the facility's 10-inch chilled water connection points in the basement. The vendor is responsible for initial startup, ensuring clean water lines, and providing comprehensive services including emergency calls and maintenance. If the chiller goes down, personnel must be on-site within 24 hours, and a replacement chiller must be provided within 120 hours if issues are not resolved within 72 hours. The period of performance is 210 calendar days.
