Purpose & Scope
This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). The primary objective is to gather industry capabilities for a comprehensive avionics upgrade, including the provision of training and a two (2) year avionics spares package. The integration work is to be performed in Cairo, Egypt.
Key Requirements
- Avionics Upgrade: Integration of an upgraded cockpit avionics system, preserving existing post-production modifications. This includes specific components such as Transponders with EHS and ADS-B (Out), GNSS, TCAS II, ADAHRS, Weather Radar, Multifunction Displays (MFD), Flight Management System (FMS), new Autopilot, and Inertial Reference System (IRS).
- Certification: Use of a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approved Supplemental Type Certificate(s) (STC).
- Training: Provide OCONUS training for up to six (6) pilots, six (6) technicians, and three (3) navigators in Cairo, Egypt, including Computer Based Training (CBT) and hands-on instruction.
- Spares: Develop and provide a two (2) year avionics spares package, including two (2) AR-1500 radios. The spares package must be available at the delivery of the first aircraft and transported to Cairo, Egypt, via Egypt's designated freight forwarder.
- Documentation: Provide technical specifications, a listing of removed components, weight and balance documentation, and updated operator/maintenance manuals.
- Warranty: One (1) year warranty on modification work from DD-250 signing.
