This document is Amendment 0001 to the solicitation 140FS126Q0028, with an effective date of February 6, 2026. It extends the hour and date specified for the receipt of offers.

Item 11 of the solicitation, which pertains to the receipt of offers, is modified.

Bidders are instructed to acknowledge receipt of this amendment. Offers must be submitted by the new hour and date specified in the solicitation, or as amended. Failure to acknowledge receipt may result in offer rejection. If an offer has already been submitted and a bidder wishes to modify it, they should send a revised quote via the same email chain, clearly indicating it is a revised quote and the previous one is no longer applicable.

Questions & Answers / Clarifications

This document provides responses to questions received regarding a solicitation for a chiller. It also includes instructions for modifying submitted bids.

• Application: The chiller is intended for chilling spring Chinook eggs to slow their development.
• Chilling Medium: The chiller will use a water-based coolant to chill water in an incubation room.
• Loop Type: A closed-loop chiller is required.
• Voltage: The 120,000 BTU Chiller is only available in 460V, not 208-230V. The government confirms 460V is acceptable.
• Set Point: The desired chiller set point is 40°F.
• Heating Operation: The government is not planning on heating the water and does not require simultaneous cooling and heating functions; the system is only needed for cooling.

Bidders who have already submitted a bid and wish to modify it should send a revised quote via the same email chain, clearly indicating it is a revised quote and the previous one is no longer applicable. The confirmation of 460V acceptability may impact electrical requirement considerations for bidders.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, for one Aqua Logic Heat/Cool Pump or approved equal. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and quotes are being requested.

• Item: HP7 AquaLogic Heat/Cool Pump or approved equal.

• Salient Characteristics:

  • Minimum cooling capacity of 10 tons.
  • Minimum 120,000 nominal BTUH.
  • Minimum electrical capacity of 35 kW.
  • Operating voltage range of 208-230 volts.
  • Three-phase electrical service required.
  • Required flow rate between 60 and 120 GPM.
  • Minimum air outlet capacity of 8,200 CFM.

• Delivery: FOB Destination to Lyons Ferry Fish Hatchery, 13780 WA-261, Washtucna, WA 99371. Anticipated delivery date is 90 days After Receipt of Order (ARO).

• Contract Type: Firm-fixed-price.

• Basis of Award: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).

• Quote Due Date: February 17, 2026, by 1300 EASTERN STANDARD TIME.

• Questions Due Date: February 13, 2026.
