• Bench Configuration: Benches for the third room should be configured like the other existing benches.
• Technical Bench Design: Vendors are to propose their best solution for the technical bench based on the provided description; no specific photo will be provided.
• Installation Details:
  • Address: 3370 Wonnacott Ave, McGuire AFB, NJ 08641, RM 112.
  • Delivery: Direct to customer site.
  • PPE: Vendor to determine based on installation team requirements.
  • COVID Restrictions: None.
  • Security: Must be escorted/receive working visitor passes.
  • Access Hours: Monday-Friday, 0600-2000. Weekends available but visitors must be completed before the weekend.
  • Parking: Not specified.
  • Equipment: Pallet jack and forklift can be scheduled with approximately one week's notice. No loading dock.
  • Site Conditions: Installation room is on the same floor as unloading, approximately 50 ft away. Tight corners/hallways/doorways exist with an opening of 84" x 34". Walls are Drywall and Concrete/Brick/Stone. Obstacles will be moved prior to installation.
  • Electrical: Outlets are at 20" height. Multiple power cords per bench are acceptable.
  • Plumbing: Not applicable.
  • Stairs: 0 stairs, all on the first floor.

Statement of Work (SOW)

To procure Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Technical Benches for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program at the Fleet Readiness Center Reserve (FRCR) McGuire.

The effort involves procuring various configurations of technical benches, including:

• Benches with ESD Safe Countertops, Riser Shelves, Task Lighting, and Power Strips.

• Specific configurations include:

  • 8 benches (72" Wide) with 3-drawer and 4-drawer base units.
  • 2 benches (72" Wide) with 3-drawer and 1-drawer/1-cabinet combination base units.
  • 3 benches (90" Wide) with 3-drawer and 4-drawer base units.
  • 1 corner bench (90" Wide x 30" Depth and 60" Wide x 30" Depth) with 3-drawer and 4-drawer base units.

• Procurement also includes installation and freight/shipping of all items.

• All dimensions are nominal; the next closest unmodified commercial dimensions are acceptable.

• All metal casework shall be unmodified commercially available Blue.

• Period of Performance: 365 calendar days from the award date.

• Place of Performance: Fleet Readiness Center Reserve, 3770 Wonnacott Ave, JBMDL, NJ, 08641.

• Installation of all furniture is required at the specified location.

• A minimum one (1) calendar year commercial warranty from the date of shipment is required.

• Each system must have a warranty sticker affixed to the outside of the unit enclosure.

• Installer Requirement: Installation is part of the requirement; the government is not providing a separate installer.
• Delivery Timeline: The government desires the benches as soon as possible. Rooms 112 and 104 are ready for installation; Room 118 is undergoing floor replacement.
• Facility Status: The facility is built and ready.
• Quantity Discrepancy (Benches/Workstations): The Bill of Materials (BOM) listing 10 is correct. The drawings showing 9 are based on original floor plans from early 2025.
• Room 118 Objects: The three 72x30 objects in Room 118 are benches and need to be quoted.
• Workstation Part Numbers & ESD Tops: The part numbers on the drawings are from an earlier plan. The government only requires the ESD counter tops, not standard tops in addition to ESD tops.
• Cabinet/Top Width: The requirement is for 30" tops. The government did not specify 18" tops on the BOM but does see 18" W drawers and doors for the benches. Clarification is sought on whether the vendor is referring to these drawer/door dimensions.

This clarification addresses quantities, specific component requirements (ESD tops), and delivery readiness, which may impact vendor quoting and proposal preparation. The government's desire for "as soon as possible" delivery is noted, with specific room readiness provided.
