Quick Summary
The Department of the Navy, specifically the U.S. Marine Corps, is conducting market research through a Sources Sought notice for a professional-grade, encrypted, network-ready wireless microphone system. This system is intended for the U.S. Marine Band's use at White House events and other high-profile missions requiring audio reinforcement. This opportunity is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Responses are due by March 4, 2026.
Scope of Work
The Marine Corps seeks information on a complete system of components capable of withstanding extended use, poor weather, and rigorous travel, while integrating with existing USMB systems in high-density RF environments. The required items include:
- Wireless Receivers: Four-channel digital receivers with wide tuning bandwidth, Quadversity mode, digital diversity, Dante/AES67, and XLR outputs.
- Antenna Systems: Wideband antenna and power distribution, RF spectrum manager, remote transmitter control access points, active directional antennas, and polarization diversity antennas.
- Transmitters & Microphones: Remote-controllable digital bodypack and handheld transmitters, various condenser and dynamic microphone capsules (lavalier, headset, supercardioid, dual-diaphragm, low-mass, extended-response), and microphone adapters.
- In-Ear Monitor (IEM) Systems: Quad-channel digital IEM transmitters, wideband digital IEM bodypack receivers, passive IEM antenna combiners, dual-driver sound isolating earphones, and circularly polarized directional antennas.
- Networking & Power: Analog to Dante network interface, various Lithium-Ion batteries (bodypack, sled-style, handheld), and modular charging stations.
- Accessories: Road cases, BNC antenna cables, BNC adapters, and light stand adapters.
