- Markings & Certifications: Pallets require heat treat, preservative treat, and manufacturer marks. Dunnage must be treated and marked per IAW 19-48-4116 Rev 14, Para AA.
- Packaging: Items must be palletized separately, optimized for 48x40 pallets, and can be double-stacked (height not recommended above 56 inches). Standard "throw away" pallets are acceptable if they support stacked loads.
- Wood Preservatives: Type I is suitable for all applications; Type III is suitable for all except wirebound boxes.
