Quick Summary

The Department of the Army is soliciting proposals for a multi-zone Audio Video (AV) Solution for the WRCTC classroom at Camp Murray, WA. This Total Small Business Set-Aside opportunity requires the design and installation of a new system capable of high-resolution video (4K or better) and high-fidelity surround sound, replacing existing projectors while reusing screens and integrating existing speakers. Proposals are due March 11, 2026.

Scope of Work

The contractor will design and install a comprehensive AV system to replace the current setup. Key requirements include:

  • Multi-Zone Display: Capability to display HDMI, VGA, and DVI media across two zones simultaneously or independently.
  • Video & Audio: Minimum 4K resolution video and high-fidelity surround sound.
  • Input Sources: Support for two PC systems (front and back of room), each requiring a minimum of two HDMI and two USB inputs, with HDMI to USB conversion for USB plates.
  • Displays: Replace existing projectors with native 4K or better units. Reuse existing projector screens (Front: 86Hx139W inches; Rear: 57Hx92W inches). Install maximum practicable size displays on two side walls, mounted in the middle with articulating mounts desired. Lights can be removed if necessary for flush mounting.
  • Audio Integration: Integrate 12 existing ceiling speakers, modifying the current single audio zone to support two zones (front to back).
  • Microphones: Support for wireless lapel microphones for instructors (at least two). Support for cameras and table-top student microphones is required, but these items are not part of this bid.
  • Control System: A control unit (preferably wireless) for managing volume, input selection, and power. The new system must manage the existing electric projector screens (Crestron TSW-760 panel), with the touch panel controller mounted on an existing podium.
  • Infrastructure: Existing functional cabling can be repurposed. Electronics must be of commercial conference center/theater quality and technologically current.
  • Deliverables: One-time, on-site training and ongoing technical support, along with a design and installation plan.
