Quick Summary
The Department of the Army is soliciting proposals for a Total Small Business Set-Aside contract to design and install a new Audio Video Solution for the WRCTC classroom at Camp Murray, WA. This opportunity, titled "WRCTC Audio Video Solution (Camp Murray)," requires replacing the existing system with a multi-zone video media solution capable of displaying various media types across two zones simultaneously or independently, featuring high-resolution 4K video and high-fidelity surround sound. Proposals are due by March 23, 2026.
Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all personnel, materials, supervision, and services to deliver a comprehensive AV solution. This includes designing and installing a multi-zone video media system that supports HDMI, VGA, and DVI inputs, with a minimum 4K resolution capability. The system must integrate high-fidelity surround sound and accommodate input from two PC systems (front and back of the room), each with at least two HDMI and two USB inputs.
Key aspects include:
- Display Integration: Reusing two front (86Hx139W inches) and one rear (57Hx92W inches) existing projector screens, and installing the largest practicable visual displays on the two side walls (mounted mid-wall, avoiding windows, with articulating mounts desired). Existing projectors are to be replaced with native 4K or better.
- Audio System: Integrating 12 existing ceiling speakers and supporting wireless lapel microphones for instructors (at least two). The system should support two audio zones (front to back split).
- Control System: A wireless touch panel controller, mounted on an existing podium, to manage volume, input selection, and power, integrating with the existing Crestron TSW-760 panel for screen control.
- Connectivity: Support for cameras via switcher inputs and HDMI to USB conversion for USB plates. Existing functional cabling can be repurposed.
- Support: One-time, on-site training and ongoing technical support.
