Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide construction services for the replacement of five (5) kitchen grease traps at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington.

• Removal and replacement of five (5) kitchen grease traps.

• Replacement grease traps shall be Zurn Z1170-400-ZS (stainless steel) or equal.

• Installation must be flush with floor level, with floors patched to edges of new grease traps.

• The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision.

• A qualified manufacturer's representative must check installation, place the system into service, and make adjustments.

• An operating test will be conducted in the presence of the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).

• Compliance with VA Infection Control requirements is mandatory.

• Work hours must be coordinated to minimize impact on kitchen operations.

• Total project duration: 120 calendar days.

• Contractor is responsible for all equipment and supplies; no Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) will be provided.

• Final system acceptance requires a demonstration of system operation in the presence of the COR.
