Scope of Work
The contractor shall remove approximately 300 twin-sized mattresses (weighing 40-50 lbs each, 6-8 inches thick) from the YRBM-58 berthing barge, which has four levels accessible only by stairs. Mattresses must be handled carefully to prevent damage. They are to be transported in covered vehicles to a contractor-provided, secure, climate-controlled storage facility (68-75°F, 40-60% relative humidity), stored elevated, and protected from pests and moisture. An inventory log must be maintained, and the Government notified of any damage. Upon request, all mattresses must be returned to Naval Base Guam within 5 business days, in the same condition as received, with offloading labor provided.
