Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for:
- Performing repairs and rehabilitation of potable water storage tanks.
- Ensuring compliance with AWWA D100, D102, C652, API 653, and all applicable OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintaining water quality integrity throughout all repair, coating, and disinfection work.
- Conducting corrosion removal and steel repairs, including replacing defective steel plates with ASTM A36 equivalent material.
- Arranging for steel repairs to be inspected by a licensed structural engineer.
- Performing weld inspections, including visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) as required by API 653.
- Replacing deteriorated and corroded bolts with stainless steel or galvanized bolts meeting AWWA and ASTM standards, torqued to manufacturer specifications.
