Key Requirements
The FTTD network must utilize OM4 multi-mode fiber optic cabling, validated through ANSI/TIA-568.3-D Tier 1 and Tier 2 testing. Installation must be secure, organized, and maintainable, with central patch panels requiring lockable enclosures and a Class 5 GSA approved IPS container. Cable management is essential. All materials must be Trade Act Agreement (TAA) compliant, and installation practices must adhere to TIA-606 labeling standards and certified firestopping. The contractor is responsible for procuring fiber, while the Government will provide network electronics and SFP transceivers. For VTC systems, the contractor will recommend and procure speaker solutions (preferably ceiling speakers), with the Government providing displays and cameras.

The work will be performed on the second floor of Building 1109, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. The period of performance is 90 calendar days from the date of award.
