Amendment / Modification

This amendment modifies the solicitation/contract for "Asphalt Site Restoration" (RFQ Number: 19AS2026Q0014) with the following changes:

• Scope of Work Modification: Addition of "curb replacement" to the existing "asphalt replacement works." This includes removal of existing curbs, subgrade preparation, supply and installation of 150 mm concrete curbs, ensuring edge restraint, proper finishing, and drainage coordination.

• Schedule Change: The Pre-Proposal Conference has been rescheduled from February 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. AEST.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for the removal of damaged asphalt and regrading of the existing base to ensure an even surface at the U.S. Embassy in Canberra, Australia. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price.

• Removal of approximately 450m² of damaged asphalt pavement.

• Regrading of the existing base to ensure an even surface.

• Construction of a new asphalt driveway surface.

• Ensuring proper surface levels and finishes, coordinated with existing site features and ABA/ADA upgrades.

• Compliance with applicable Australian Standards, ACT regulatory requirements, industry best practices, manufacturer specifications, and U.S. Embassy safety, security, and quality requirements.

• Historic preservation expertise is mandatory, requiring a minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in historically significant structures.

• The contractor must provide personnel, material, equipment, and supervision.

• Work must be completed within 75 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed.

• Contract type: Firm Fixed Price.

• Period of Performance: Commencement within 10 calendar days of Notice to Proceed, completion within 75 calendar days.

• Estimated Value: Between $40,000 and $100,000 USD.

• Quotations are due by 4:00 PM AEST on Thursday, March 12th, 2026.

• Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to offer submission.

• Offerors must be technically qualified and financially responsible.

• Offerors must have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing in Australia or plan to establish an office within 30 days of contract award.

• Offers providing less than 30 calendar days for Government acceptance after the due date will be rejected.

• All work shall be performed during normal working hours (0700-1800 Monday-Friday) unless otherwise coordinated.

• Site visit is scheduled for February 19th, 2026, at 10:00 AM AEST at the U.S. Embassy Canberra.
