Scope of Work

The contractor will furnish all labor, parts, tools, materials, and supervision to install two 60 Amp receptacles compatible with Purge Unit Plug, Cat No. CPH-6034BC. Receptacles must be wall-mounted and rated as standard 4-pin, Intrinsically Safe (IS) for Hazardous Location Class I, Div 1 & 2, Group B, C, D; Class II, Div 1 & 2, Group F, G; Class III, Div 1 & 2. The scope includes removing and properly disposing of damaged or improper connectors and associated electrical components, such as replacing the existing 60-amp, 240-volt disconnect with a heavy-duty type. The contractor must provide all necessary components for a complete and functional installation, perform functional testing, and submit shop drawings or specification sheets for compatibility verification. Coordination with the Electric Shop is required for circuit breaker requests and panel work.

The receptacles must meet specific salient characteristics, including dimensions of 15.75 in x 7 in x 5.63 in, a weight of 7.8, and an electrical requirement of 3P 4W Circuit - 115/230VAC At 60Hz. Installation must comply with manufacturer specifications, industry standards, the National Electric Code, and ANSI/NFPA 70. The project is expected to be completed within 7 days after receiving all materials/parts, with work performed between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.
